Profile of elderly people enrolled in a Family Health Unit

This is a descriptive quantitative study with the objective of describing the elderly population enrolled in a Family Health Unit through file A of SIAB of the Ministry of Health for 119 elderly people. There were more women than men aged 60 - 69 years old, not having finished elementary school, home owners, average income between R$ 200-400, married, mainly Roman Catholic, high blood pressure and inoculation up-to-date. With these results available, decision-making and health care planning is possible with the inclusion of the elderly in primary health care.Downloads
