Due to the advances in health care technology, many children become technology-dependent and are taken care of by their families at home. Using the oral history method, this study had the objective of understanding the experience of families with children in this situation. After analyzing interviews with seven families, three themes stood out: Turning into a care specialist, Transforming family space and Caring with limited resources.
