Abstract

In the field of public health nursing, epidemiological surveillance has been highlighted as essential to a nurse's routine. It is necessary for the nursing undergraduate course to include content and skills to analyze endemic-epidemic processes in infectious diseases. This work seeks to share the experience of the "Collective Health Nursing with a focus on Infectious Diseases" course which used statistical process control charts as a teaching tool in this program.
