Abstract

This study investigates the knowledge and use of contraceptives by 80 adolescents of both genders, aged 14 to 18 years old form a professional training center in the south of the city of São Paulo. We used the interview to collect data, and category analysis to identify categories such as: knowledge of contraceptives; advantages and disadvantages of contraceptives; use of contraceptives; responsibility in the prevention.
