Abstract

A report of experience focusing on "Creativity and Sensibility Workshops" run by the Project "Caring... By caring for oneself!", of the Nursing School of the Federal University of Minas Gerais, involving health workers and caregivers who practice in hospitals in Belo Horizonte. It has the objective of providing an understanding of self and of others; seeking to develop more humane attitudes in the work process and in interpersonal relationships; to motivate the self-care of the workers/caregivers in their day-today living. The strategies used are: workshops on body model, relaxation and the healing touch, among others. The aspects that emerge from experience, reveal the stress in the daily routine of workers/caregivers; the lack of understanding of their own bodies, as well as the conflicts of working alongside others.
