Characters of the global process of stomatherapy care

Abstract

This study highligths the historical milestone of Stomatherapy as a speciality, with a framework of global care through a time evolving process. The actors who account for the comprehensiveness of such care are as follows: the citizen as care consumer and union organizer; publics managers; services managers; therapist enterostomal. The scenario of global care is composed of the aforementioned characters, each one playing a specific role.
