Creation of the Breastfeeding Center

Abstract

The project's main concern is the creation of a Breastfeeding Center in our community. A survey on the Diamantina's Breastfeeding Program has shown its lack Center of sequence or clear aims, leading us to believe that a Breastfeeding Center is of vital inportance for the city. An interaction program between our team and the local Health and Education Public Organs as well as Charity and Communitary Associations was elaborated as a second stage of the project. Such an interaction will also develop a conscience of the need for a Breastfeeding Center. The last part of the project consists of the actions to be developed by the Center, which have already been designed. These actions shall include the participation of the whole community, in order that greater and farther reaching results can be achieved.
