This paper is the result of an evaluation of the cervical cancer program ("Viva Mulher" Program) in the decentralized health offices in the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil, from 1998 to 2002. The analysis chosen was that proposed by Contandriopoulos. We conclude that there was an increase in the in services offered, but that they remain concentrated in few places and there is a lack of continuity for patients diagnosed as having cervical cancer.Downloads
