TELERREABILITAÇÃO DE CRIANÇAS E ADOLESCENTES COM DOENÇAS CARDIOPULMONARES DURANTE PANDEMIA DA COVID

Resumo

Doenças cardiopulmonares apresentam fatores limitantes em crianças e adolescentes que têm um estilo de vida sedentário, sendo necessário acompanhamento contínuo, mesmo que remoto, desses sujeitos. Este estudo tem como objetivo demonstrar como a telerreabilitação é uma ferramenta útil no tratamento de crianças e adolescentes com doenças cardiopulmonares durante o período de pandemia causada pela COVID-19, quando o acesso ao atendimento presencial passou a ser restrito. Com o isolamento social, foi implementada a telerreabilitação para os pacientes que já estavam em atendimento presencial. Pelo programa desenvolvido, foram realizados 81 teleatendimentos de maio a novembro de 2020 a 6 pacientes, na faixa etária de 10 a 19 anos, sendo 5 deles com diagnóstico de asma e um em pós-operatório tardio de transplante cardíaco. Houve dificuldades relacionadas à comunicação e ao acompanhamento dos pacientes, porém a abordagem permitiu o estabelecimento de um vínculo e a aderência dos pacientes ao tratamento.
