The purpose of this article is to report the preparation of the Virtual Exhibition entitled "Blacks on the Brazilian railways - A story almost never told", developed as part of the celebration of the 17th anniversary of the Railway Museum of Juiz de Fora. The main objective of this event was to redefine the approach to the Museum's exhibitions, which previously took place in person, but which, due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, began to be held online. The exhibition was conceived through a collaboration between the Museum and the Extension Project "Educational Actions at the Railway Museum", linked to the UFJF Department of Tourism. Its central purpose was to instigate a socio-historical analysis of the contribution of black workers in Brazilian railway construction, a portion often neglected by history. To this end, the exhibition adopted a visual approach based on bibliographical and iconographic research related to the 19th and 20th centuries, a time of notable growth in railway construction in Brazil, which resulted in transformations in the dynamics and labor relations in the sector.
