Abstract

The consumption of alcohol and drugs during pregnancy is associated with several factors, including family poverty. The opportunity to raise your child becomes essential to motivate socially vulnerable pregnant women and alcohol and drug users to abandon addiction. Objectives: Analyze the importance of humanization actions in health, through active listening with an audience of postpartum women in a support home. Methodology: Identification of the demand for reception and information, consequent creation of bonds, holding conversation circles, preparing informative pamphlets and individual conversations with postpartum women. Results: The group presentation, conversation circles about contraceptive methods and STIs, alcohol and drug abuse, maternity care and evaluation meetings with postpartum women covered. Conclusion: The conversation circles were important strategies to promote the formation of bonds, through active listening and a humanized relationship between postpartum women and medical students.
