ODONTOLOGIA DE PORTAS ABERTAS (OPA)
UMA AÇÃO DE RECEPÇÃO AOS CALOUROS DO CURSO DE BACHARELADO EM ODONTOLOGIA DA UNIFAL-MG

The purpose of this study was to report the activities and results of the extension action “Open Door Dentistry (ODD)”, by the UNIFAL-TEP-Dentistry group. The event started in 2016 and its target audience is the freshmen of the course. In the action, the university and the curriculum are presented, including practical demonstrations and integrative activities. After the evaluation of 25 freshmen, all would indicate the event and judged as important the exposed themes. Also rated as "great", mostly, the performance of the speakers, programming and dissemination of the event. Therefore, it is concluded that the action has an integrative character and can contribute to reducing dropout from the Dentistry course.
