Peripheral odontogenic fibroma (POF) is a slow growth benign neoplasia derived from odontogenic ectomesenchyma. It appears as a gingival sessile mass usually located in the interdental papilla. The lesion is firm to palpation usually overlaid by a normal mucosa. The aim of this paper is to report a case of POF describing the characteristics of the disease and discussing the relevant literature.
