A epidermólise bolhosa é uma doença mucocutânea caracterizada pela formação de bolhas na pele e mucosa, que surgem espontaneamente ou sob trauma insignificante. A doença pode ser genética ou adquirida, sendo classificada em simples, juncional e distrófica. O artigo apresenta um protocolo de atendimento
odontológico direcionado ao indivíduo com epidermólise bolhosa distrófica recessiva generalizada, bem como alguns cuidados que devem ser considerados no tratamento odontológico.
