NORMATIZAÇÃO E ÉTICA NA ATUAÇÃO DOS PROFISSIONAIS DAS CIÊNCIAS DA VIDA

Abstract

O presente artigo visa apresentar aspectos da conduta dos profissionais das chamadas “ciências da vida”, ou seja, aqueles que lidam diretamente com a vida, como médicos, biólogos, técnicos, entre outros, sendo pesquisadores ou não.  São levantadas discussões acerca da atuação perante as regras relacionadas ao exercício de suas atividades e como estas interferem na composição de normas, nas relações com o direito e em outras formas de normatividade. Levanta reflexões acerca da ética e da bioética, a conformação desta a partir do desenvolvimento contemporâneo das ciências da vida e da tecnologia e, por fim, da relação desses cientistas com os valores relacionados ao trabalho que realizam.

LEGAL STATUTE AND ETHICS IN THE PRACTICE OF PROFESSIONAL OT THE MEDICAL SCIENCES

ABSTRACT: This article aims to present aspects of the conduct of the professionals from the called “sciences of life”; in other words, those who deal directly with the life, such as doctors, biologists, technicians, and as many professionals, researchers or not. Discussions about rules related to the practice of their activities are raised, and how these relations interfere in the formation of the rules, on the relations of their activities with the law and with other kinds of normativity. The article raises reflections about ethics and bioethics, the formation of the bioethics from the contemporary development of the sciences of life and of technology and, finally, about the relation of these scientists with the values related to the work they achieve.
