Abstract

The thirtieth issue (vol. 2) of CAAP Journal pays tribute to Professor Ricardo Salgado on the occasion of one year since his passing (on December 3, 2024).

Ricardo Salgado was a professor in the Department of Labor Law and Introduction to the Study of Law and was a permanent member of the Graduate Program in Law. He served as head of the department for four terms, up until March 2024.

Author Biography

  • Roberto Novaes, Federal University of Minas Gerais

    Roberto Vasconcelos Novaes holds a bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degree in Philosophy of Law from the Faculty of Law at UFMG. He is currently an assistant professor at the same institution and coordinator of the State Sciences program. His academic and professional career brings together legal-philosophical studies and extensive experience in the development and implementation of management software, databases, and information analysis tools. His academic and professional interests lie at the intersection of Law, Computer Science, Information Systems, and Theory of the State.
