This article is about the concept of the youth, presenting some statistic information relative to the youth in the Brazilian Society, associating them to the school registration and frequency of the 15 to 24 year-old people, getting the attention that, among us, one of the great challenges in the guarantee of the frequency possibilities of large juvenile part to the fundamental learning. The text still gets the attention to the necessity of the interaction between youth and school; it concludes pointing out to the challenges established today for the building of steps to be followed in this area.
