The text that synthesizes the activies of the Center for Work and Education of the College of Education of the Federal University of Ceará, based on the center in the last two years, concentrates on the spectrum of fundamental research fields and areas of interest and performance of the faculty and student body (Doctoral and Master’s Degree students). Summarized under the basic focus of the analysis of capitalist productive restructuration, the studies concentrate on the revelation of the new ways taken on by the social-metabolic reproduction of the capital and on the study of political, educational, and qualificational processes, which are hegemonically produced by these new ways and by the answers provided by the working class and their anti-capital struggles.
