GUIDING PRINCIPLES FOR THE FORMATION OF TEACHERS: PERSONALITY IN A COLLECTIVE
Keywords:

This study is part of the research field that deals with teacher education, aiming to understand how these professionals are trained in a collective context, such as a study and research group. This paper presents an interpretation of actions carried out within in a study and research group, which, based on some principles, can guide the teaching education of the participating educators. This training is intended from an activity perspective, based on the premise that a collective study and research group that strives for actions extending beyond its structural dimensions provides education that, with new qualities, transforms the subjects who participate in it. Thus, research was conducted based on the presuppositions of Historical-Cultural Theory, with the objective of understanding principles guiding teacher education within a collective. The data were produced from the analysis of actions carried out within a study and research group, with 18 members, affiliated with the group as undergraduate students, teachers pursuing postgraduate studies and/or teachers in primary or higher education, participating in its projects. The analytical process, based on the dialectic between the guiding and executing dimensions, aimed to identify guiding principles for teacher education within the group from the different actions it develops. The results indicate that these actions allow the principles to be implemented so that subjects can be formed from the perspective of a collectivist personality.
