Continuing education for teachersAbstract
This is an evaluative review that aims to discuss the text “Continuing Training of Higher Education Teachers: training and pedagogical practice”. It is assumed that debating continuing education is not an easy task, and that it will be necessary to review concepts, challenges and possibilities so that pedagogical experiences within the scope of continuing education can be analyzed. In view of this and based on the opinion prepared, a debate with the authors of the text and from a hermeneutic perspective, a new analysis was carried out, seeking to revisit the text and the context. It was possible to assume a dialogical dynamic with the authors, based on the results of the research and the analysis of the categories: the place of facilitators and the pedagogical experience of training. It is considered that the text contributes to continued training as it indicates perspectives for professional training, situating the role of facilitators, and sharing the pedagogical experience developed in the UNIVESP training course.
