ARCH OF PROBLEMATIZATION FOR EDUCATIONAL PLANNING IN HEALTH IN THE PERCEPTION OF NURSING STUDENTS

The study aimed to reveal the perception of nursing students regarding the use of the Problematization Arc in the teaching of educational planning in health. This is a descriptive study, with a qualitative approach, carried out with 15 undergraduate nursing students, developed at a public university in the northern region of Brazil in 2019. The researched discipline is part of the second year of the nursing course and focuses on the development of health education. Data collection was carried out through a semi-structured interview with a guide of guiding questions. These were scheduled and carried out from April to May 2019. For data analysis, the technique of comparisons in Grounded Theory was used, separating, conceptualizing and interconnecting the data with each other through open and axial coding. This process was developed with the help of the trial version of the Atlas TI® program. The study was submitted to and approved by the Research Ethics Committee. Three categories emerged from the analysis: Understanding of Active Methodology and the Arch of Maguerez; Educational Health Planning: knowledge and experience; and Arch of Maguerez in the teaching of educational health planning. Students understand and perceive the Arch of Maguerez as an eligible strategy for educational planning in health, as they admit a relationship between the tools and consider that the arch proposes democratic teaching-learning relationships, values previous knowledge and dialogues with the reality of the target audience.
