O Museu da Escola Primária no Porto: orientações histórico culturais

To think the creation of a school museum is, firstly, to review the museums origins and functions. In this article we analyse the early modern museums, from the XVIth to the XXth century, and examples of this application in Portugal. This will highlight the differences and will help us determine the talks of the museum that we intent to create in the city of Porto. The paper discusses the options that project takes to the future of the Primary School Museum: a living museum, based on an integrating and interdisciplinary approach, rooted in the community and open to the work.
