Abstract

This article was originally presented at an event organized by the Embassy of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in Berlin, in January 2014, with the theme “Friedrich Nietzsche and his influence on the revolutions of the 21st century in
Latin America and Caribbean”. Helmut Heit and Axel Pichler evaluate Nietzsche’s work in the context of the political movements of the 19th century and analyze his observations about the revolution, the transformation and the development of mankind, concluding that the German philosopher was an important progressive political thinker.
