The purpose of this text is to approach the concepts of emancipation used
by Karl Marx in two articles written in 1843 and published in the Franco-German Annals – the political emancipation and the human emancipation -, seeking to trace how from these conceptions he developed his critique, still in an early manner, to the notions that aimed to affirm the ontological or metaphysical equality of human beings from abstract labor.
