This text aims to analyze, albeit partially, the relationship between practical rationality and syllogism in Aristotle and Hegel, especially from the fundamental differences between one project and the other. While in Aristotle the practical syllogism follows the structure of the theoretical syllogism, Hegel's logical project is also an ontology and intends, with this, to overcome the classic opposition between truth and validity, form and content, logic and being. How, therefore, to think about the application of Hegel's syllogistic triad (the three variations of S-P-U) to practical rationality (the idea of freedom), as in Aristotle? Does such a claim make sense? These and other elements pertinent to the relationship between Aristotle and Hegel will be the subject of this article. From a methodological point of view, the text is a critical analysis.
