Abstract

We intend at the end of this paper to investigate how Michel Foucault discusses the question of the subject through his doctoral thesis published in 1961 under the title Histoire de la folie à l'age classique. To this end, I analyzed here the argumentative structure of the book in question, as we all have its result, which is the birth of psychiatry and psychological sciences in the modern era, in which the subject is objectified by epistemic practices, thus, practices related to a speech which takes the shape of a scientific knowledge.
