Business information in the Internet: a study of the information of furniture
Abstract
Business Information is one of the fundamental factors for technological and managerial development of industrial sectors. This study investigated the information needs of companies in the furniture sector, focusing on 168 companies in the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil. The study explored the types of information and information sources used and the potential of the Internet to provide access to the information needed by the companies researched. Finally, the study makes suggestions for the development of an information system, provided via web, to assist these companies.Downloads
