Literature used in the library science undergraduate courses in Brazil: institutional productivity

Abstract

Characteristics of the bibliography included in the sylabbi of library science undergraduate courses of the Federal University of Minas Gerais and University of São Paulo. Identification of the institutions and authors of this bibliography and establishment of the ranking of these institutions on the basis of the number of authors of each one present in the bibliography. There are differences between this ranking and two other rankings of academic excellence of Brazilian universities which makes appropriate the establishment of the new ranking.
