This article aims to present the relationship of the marketing information (MIS) with the strategy of market orientation, and deepen the discussion on the management of information related to competition, little explored, especially as regards its operation. The results from the literature review and a case study indicate that, although critical for business success, information is obtained, processed and disseminated in ways less structured.Downloads
