Project’s pedagogy in school library: proposal of a model for the process of school research

Abstract

The paper discusses the importance of the research in the educational context for the teaching-learning process. It focuses on the school library as encouragement for the practice of school research through Project’s Pedagogy. It analyzes the result of a research carried out in a school of Basic Education in São Luis-MA, with the students, teachers and the environment of the library, to identify the process of research in the school context. A model for the process of school research is proposed through the use of projects. The model is to be applied in the context of the school library extending to the classrooms, aiming at stimulating the practice of research among students, teachers and librarians, as well as promoting the integration between them for the effectiveness of the construction and concretization of school research.
