Competência informacional e dimensões da competência do bibliotecário no contexto escolar

Abstract

The Society of the Information transformed the performance of all inserted the social actors into it and made to appear new forms to think and of if relating with the reality. This has taken the professionals of all the areas to reflect on its attributions, abilities and responsibilities. In this context, the pertaining to school librarians start to rethink its positions of professional performance and insert it information literacy or informacional ability. This article searchs to appraise ability and informacional ability and to reflect on these two concepts in the daily one of the pertaining to school librarian, giving to an approach to the dimensions of the ability politics, ethics, aesthetic technique and, being outstanding that the ability of the pertaining to school librarian is pautada in each one of these dimensions.
