Abstract

The present text brings the discussion about the possibility of identification and cultural mediation from the analysis of the participation and involvement of individuals in systematic (workshops) and unsystematic activities (parties and celebrations) offered under the Sport and Leisure Program of the City developed in the State da Bahia, PELC-Bahia, between the years 2017 and 2019. To this end, it uses an electronic questionnaire, in the Survey model, applied to the coordinators of the nucleus and social agents who worked in the 100 centers of the program during its development. From the reports of the individuals involved in the research, it was possible to verify that both the systematic and unsystematic activities developed within the scope of the program can be understood as a possibility of cultural mediation, and can also influence the process of cultural identification of the individuals who were involved in the PELC -Bahia.
