This study aimed to identify the main focuses of articles on leisure published between 2000 and 2022. Content Analysis was employed to identify these focuses, and Pierre Bourdieu's concept of scientific field was adopted as a theoretical framework for data analysis. The results reveal a growth in the number of articles dedicated to leisure, with 29.87% focusing on groups and their leisure practices, 19.58% on theoretical-conceptual investigations, 14.78% on studies concerning leisure spaces/equipment, 7.14% on literature reviews, and 6.07% on leisure programs. It was also observed that the primary theme investigated is public policies related to leisure, and researchers tend to conduct accessible studies.
