THE COMODIFICATION OF SUPPORT PROCESS IN BELO HORIZONTE: REFLEXIONS STARTED FAN MEMBERSHIP PROGRAM

The purpose of this article is to analyze the commodification process of support from a fan membership program and how this affected the relationship that fans establish with the said program and with the club. As a methodology, questionnaires and semi-structured interviews with the fans were used, as well as the research of laws and documents related to the research theme. The results showed a profile of supporters those with potential consumption of services. In addition, understanding the relationship of the club with its fans is guided by a business logic. The model of connection with the fan had as reference the process of commercialization of twisting established in other countries and that is being developed here in Brazil with the collaboration of the club, the fans and other agents of the sports field.Downloads
