THE EMERGENCY OF THE ADVENTURE BODY PRACTICE IN CURRICULUM POLICY OF MINAS GERAIS:
A DOCUMENTAL ANALYSIS
Abstract
Minas Gerais curricular policy has undergone changes since the first decade of the 21st century. This article aims to describe and analyze how the content of “adventure body practices”, specifically, is dealt with in the guiding documents of the school physical education curriculum in the state of Minas Gerais, through documental analysis. It was possible to verify the relevance of the Minas Gerais legal framework for the emergence of this content in the documents of the State of Minas Gerais. As a result of the research, it is possible to infer that the curriculum policy of Minas Gerais can be considered innovative with the inclusion of adventure practices. We believe that the inclusion of this content in the physical education curriculum can favor education for the leisure experience, in addition to inducing a pedagogical practice that values leisure studies in the field of adventure practices and, ultimately, environmental education.
