Pessoal e intransferível: a relevância dos estilos de aprendizagem nas aulas de línguas estrangeiras

Abstract

Este artigo apresenta uma visão geral do construto estilos de aprendizagem (CURRY, 1987, inter alios) a fim de mostrar como ele pode facilitar os processos de aprendizagem de línguas estrangeiras e, em seguida, traz os resultados de uma pesquisa envolvendo o uso de entrevistas abertas (FLICK, 2004) e de duas das mais difundidas taxonomias (GRASHA, 1996 e REID, 1987) para saber como 25 aprendizes de línguas estrangeiras, oriundos de variados contextos de aprendizagem, lidam com esse importante construto. A metodologia de estudo de caso ajudou-me a realçar o papel desse insumo. O artigo termina destacando alguns benefícios dos estudos nessa área e oferece sugestões para pesquisas futuras.
