Linguagem e Internacionalização no Ensino Superior Brasileiro

Internacionalização e Inglesamento (Englishization) são processos em andamento em muitas universidades brasileiras. Este artigo apresenta uma pesquisa etnográfica sobre processos de política linguística em desdobramento em uma universidade federal. Primeiramente, uma análise do plano de internacionalização desta universidade é apresentada. Esta análise documental é, então, acompanhada de uma interpretação das perspectivas de um grupo de atores sociais sobre como o plano está sendo implementado no contexto em que atuam. Concluo ressaltando a necessidade de criação de um maior engajamento entre gestores sêniores e os diversos membros da comunidade universitária para o desenvolvimento e a implementação de planos de internacionalização.
