This is a case history of three pregnant women cared for by a team of the Family Health Program. They were monitored during prenatal care, labor and delivery and the Lamaze psychosomatic pain relief method was used. Some modifications are proposed in order to relieve pain during labor, using breathing techniques, relaxation and education. The course to prepare the pregnant women began in the 20th week of gestation and included 6 individual meetings. The monitoring was carried out during labor and delivery, and the women were interview eight days after delivery.Downloads
