Abstract

Universities must stimulate an improvement in students' communication skills. Bibliographical references, educational tools and the way teachers deal with students are important in preparing individuals for professional practice, teaching and research. It's challenging for professors to cover curricular program content in large heterogeneous groups, therefore the relationship between teachers and students is central in school organization. The objective of this study is to understand the language interface in the teacher-student relationship in undergraduate Nursing. The authors state that it is fundamental for teachers to think about language, linguistic variations and discursive genres, giving a special place to enunciates and concepts, favoring the learning of students and strengthening the relationship with teachers.
