Critical emancipatory workshops reveal the possibility of intervention in collective health and aim to critically form independent and responsible individuals. Our proposal was to work with adolescents in Workshops on Sexuality at Querubins Association in the city of Belo Horizonte. The objective of this study was to examine the qualitative character and perception of an adolescent males'group participation in a Workshop on Sexuality and the meaning given by them to the gender roles of men and women in their experience of sexuality. The data was collected using a semi-structured questionnaire and analyzed using content analysis technique. The workshops gave the participants the opportunity to think about adolescence, sexuality and relationships between both genders, allowing free space for speech and creativity. The initial male resistance gradually diminished and they became divulgators and motivators of this proposal to colleagues and family members.Downloads
