Stress and its determinant factors in the nursing students conception

The present study aimed at identifying the stress level in nursing graduation students and at discussing the connection between the factors possibly linked to stress and quality of life of the students. To reach the objectives above, a descriptive study of quantitative approach was carried out. The scenery was a Nursing School at a Public University where 214 students were interviewed. For data collection, a form containing open and closed questions was applied. Many situations were considered factors linked to stress, but the most outstanding were associated to health and family, as well as that situations associated to work/University (tests, practical teaching, feeling under pressure), what let us think about stress as a psychological and physical alterationDownloads
