Masculine and feminine identity from the point of view of health workers at a reproductive health service

The objective of this study was to analyze social and gender representations of health workers in a reproductive health service with regard to masculine and feminine identity. A workshop was chosen to collect data and the theme was "The construction of masculine and feminine identity". The data showed that the role of caregiver is central in feminine identity, while rationality is the structuring element in masculine identity.Downloads
