This is a descriptive, exploratory, prospective study, to systematically evaluate the pain felt by patients subjected to anti-neoplasic chemotherapy. Twenty-four patients were followed, with the approval of the Institution's Ethics Committee. Results showed that 17 out of the 24 patients monitored who mentioned pain before treatment, 14 said the pain improved; 13 felt another pain during the treatment. Associating the information obtained about pain with the "status" of the patients shows that despite the pain, the general state of the patients remained unaltered.Downloads
