Proposta de reconstituição da flora e geração de renda aos locais afetados pelo rompimento da barragem de Fundão

Uso de frutos nativos e exóticos do Brasil

Resumo

O desastre ambiental causado pelo rompimento da barragem de Fundão afetou a vegetação local, sendo a sua reconstituição importante para a biodiversidade e para as comunidades atingidas. Nessa perspectiva, o objetivo deste estudo foi realizar um levantamento bibliográfico dos frutos exóticos e nativos do Brasil com potencial para utilização na reconstituição da flora afetada, apontando seus efeitos biológicos, composições e possíveis aplicações. A seleção dos frutos foi realizada verificando a compatibilidade de bioma, regiões de ocorrência e/ou capacidade de adaptação. A partir disso, a compilação mostrou oito frutos com potencial para serem inseridos ou reinseridos nas regiões afetadas, tendo em vista que esses frutos apresentam características nutricionais e biológicas interessantes e possibilidade de aplicação em diversos produtos alimentícios, contribuindo para geração de renda da população.
