The Visual Arts/Photography project “Conhecidos de Vista” presents the relationship among neighbors who do not know each other, but whose windows are too close is the main theme here. Issues such as the influence of the real state speculation on people’s lives, to see and to be seen in the city are discussed through the images and reports collected for the project. The paper approaches the films Rear Window, by Alfred Hitchcock (1954) and Medianeras, by Gustavo Taretto (2011).Downloads
