Water governance in connection with management integration and planning of an operational system involving scientific and technological bases, besides supporting systems for community participation and decision are approached. Not only the evolution of the concept of water resources integrated management is examined, but also are presented solutions for the implementation of a watershed governance with the incorporation of preventive data on atmospheric, superficial and underground waters in order to foresee events, minimize impacts, and promote actions to improve water quality and manage the water supply-demand relationship.Downloads
