Crises can highlight the perishable nature of time and bring the memories of forgotten futures back to humanity. If an opportunity exists amidst these pandemic days, it stems from the shared intuition that social changes are possible. In this essay, I connect prefigurative tendencies from contemporary social movements with audacious enterprises undertaken in Silicon Valley to prototype the future of Education. I do this by using a psychological theory of human development that focuses on the collectividual dimension of people's agency in the world. I invite the reader to recognize and take back its power to invent themselves while rewriting the world by referring to music, poetry, and images underlying the disruptive power of imagination and the political quality of creativity.
