Abstract
In general, for several decades, cultural content has been designed using transmedia criteria. At present, due to the multiplication of digital channels and formats, there is a notable increase in content (textual and audiovisual) related to contemporary historical studies. The new trends in the dissemination of knowledge are greatly modifying the ways of narrating the events of the past and, in turn, are conditioned by variables as complex as the motivations of producers, the supervision of the academic world, institutional patronage, et cetera. In short, the interview with Professor Paolo Raspadori aims to reflect on key issues related to the rigor of documentation methods, narrative revisionism, the popularity of fiction genres, the influence of the dominant ideology and the analysis of indices of consumption in an increasingly diversified, globalized and interconnected cultural market.
