Abstract
The profound changes in social dynamics caused by the measures imposed to combat the COVID-19 pandemic have harmed the world economy, labor relations and exposed, among other ills, the fragility of society in dealing with situations of distancing and isolation. On the other hand, these same changes required coping attitudes that proved to be a great opportunity for individuals to get to know each other better. The present report describes a personal experience lived in the first months of social isolation in which, through the aesthetic relationship established with the works of the artist Edward Hopper (1882-1964), it was possible to perceive psycho-emotional characteristics that reveal my identity.
