Abstract

The study of antiquity has been undergoing profound transformations. The articles gathered in this dossier offer a small sample of different perspectives, themes, problems, approaches and questions that are currently present in the field of Ancient History. This is a set of contributions that, despite being diverse and heterogeneous in terms of scope and subject matter, have in common the status of forming a reasonably representative overview of some new directions in which the historical study of antiquity has been moving.
